The human impact assessment in progress
The human impact assessment of the use of videos in teaching and learning is in progress. By analyzing, for example, interviews before and after the experiments, video-ethnographies on experimentations, and observation of the meetings related to experiments we try to figure out the positive, negative end neutral impacts of the use of the videos on various stakeholder groups. According to the preliminary results, there are impacts on time use meaning, that often the use of videos in teaching demands more time than more traditional teaching. In addition, the use of videos demands support from other teachers and/or digital learning personnel.
